Souk Semmarine






 Souk Semmarine is the busy central souk of the Marrakech Medina. Pass through the distinctive stone archway into wide, covered streets where shops sell everything from textiles and antique furniture to hand-painted ceramics. Spend hours exploring colourful handicrafts, snacking on street food and wandering off into the surrounding souks.

Many of the shops here sell traditional clothing and textiles made of high-quality fabrics, such as kaftans and babouches slippers. This is also a great place to purchase a tagine, the traditional clay cooking pot used to prepare the popular dish of the same name, with many sizes and unique designs available.
